Tribidya Shikchhya Sadan (TRISSA), a primary school based in Shankhamul Kathmandu organized International Students Awards (ISA) exhibition on 28th Jan 2018 on the premises of TRISSA.Living up to their core values, the school’s ISA exhibition displayed various projects conducted by students from Nursery to Class 3, where all the parents were present in full spirit to support their children.
The students from Nursery to Primary showcased their projects on the stage and what they had learnt from the hands-on based activities. Although some students were nervous to perform on stage, they overcame their fears and powered through, storytelling about the hungry caterpillar, singing their nursery rhymes, and describing how they do their daily chores.
TRISSA ensures that every child is given opportunity to learn to the best of their ability through such exhibitions. Co-founders Sangeeta Shrestha and Apekshya Basnet started this school to change the education system in Nepal. As not many primary schools were focused on practice based learning, these ladies took it as a challenge and started TRISSA. They began by turning a dumping site into a beautiful primary school premise where students are building their educational foundation with engaging teaching materials. They have already entered 5 glorious years of existence.
This primary school is run by all women and they state that their passion for education and childdevelopment motivates them to be better at their job everyday
